I have a "design flaw" in my back, causing cronical pain and quick exhaustion in my lower back and legs.
It's been there for as long as I can remember ...
After a history with constantly returning acute lumbago attacs from doing work not suited for anyone with that condition, I opted for an early retirement when opportunity came.
This also because the only employment I could have was the same kind of work I had already done and not gotten any better from.
Rather on the contrary ...
So I picked up photography again (did some during the analog period) and began photographing in my local area, as a kind of distracting therapy.
So, I'm doing these walkabouts (as and when my medical issues allow) in my local areas and shoot nature, woodlands and forrests to my best ability. I "travel light" with a minimum of gear I can put in the pockets of my dedicated vest. I rather carry stuff ON me than have it ATTACHED to me - like a camera bag.
Now, if you expect me to go up hights, or climb up steep hills to show epic views over wast landscapes - forget it.
If there's no road I can drive up, it just won't happend.
However, I hope you like my images anyway.
I don't make any money from it what so ever at the moment. The images are just subjects I see and notice when I'm doing my walks.

Yeah, it's me - I'm back !
Loads of things have happend and I'm not going to bore you with the details.
Main thing is:
I'm still doing some photography, but it has sort of changed over time.
Among other things, I have realised there are certain things I can not do as a photographer only,
so I rather see it as an image creating process in general and not just photography in particular.
So - I may very well incorporate a number of different methods in my images - be they photography,
Photoshop generated or 3D.
They may very well be a collaboration of all of them. Whatever it takes to do the images in my mind.

Jodå, det finns en hel del svenskar här på DA, men vart dom är har jag ingen aning om...
Vad jag gör och varför finns i rutan "deviantID" här ovanför och det är det som jag kommer att fortsätta syssla med.
Hälsingland är ett stort län, så det finns mycket att hitta här, men jag kommer mest att hålla mig inom en radie om c:a 5 mil.
Mest på grund av att jag har vissa svårigheter att göra mer episka utflykter i avlägsna områden, men också för att jag tycker det finns tillräckligt att utforska lokalt och inom närmare håll.

What I'm doing and why is explained in the "deviantID" box above and that's what I'll continue doing.
Hälsingland is a large province, so there is much to find here. But I'll be mostly staying within a 50 km (30 mile) radius.
Mostly due to difficulties for me to perform more epic outings in remote areas, but also because I think there is enough to explore locally and within reaching distance.
